Politechnika Śląska (Silesian University of Technology) located only 400 meters away from Aircom AI headquarters in Gliwice belongs to the Polish academic forefront. Its branches work within the entire Upper Silesia, the most densely populated area in Poland (app. 3.5 million people). The academic authorities are open to scientific and business cooperation. Our Aircom managers are also lecturers at Politechnika Śląska (Silesian University of Technology), at the Ph.D level. Knowledge is a keystone in our industry. Only know-how guarantees a status of an expert in automotive.

Aircom have signed two letters of intent in the department of AEiI (Automatic, Electronics and Informatics) and in the department of Mechanical and Technics. We offer internships and apprenticeships for students (incl. half year paid internships in Germany). We are able to conduct introductory doctorates and thesis with an industry cooperation.

We also proudly support PWR Racing Team – a team of formula student. We have a status of the silver sponsor. Aircom is a reliable partner supporting its cooperants with new air compressors for tests. We can also share our RnD area and deliver high quality plastic parts for race cars.

PWR Racing Team is a team established in 2009 by a group of Wrocław University of Science and Technology students. Today the team includes over 70 people. It is still bonded by one goal: to build a race car and take part in the international Formula Student competition.

Each season, they design, build, test and race a new car, improving old solutions and finding new ones. So far, 8 cars have been created in PWR Racing Team garage.

In the 2016/2017 season, as the first Polish team ever, they won an edition of Formula Student competition, beating 50 other teams at Ricardo Paletti circuit in Italy.
